I really hope Pat White can be more than just a decoy for use this season just looked at some old games of his on tv man can he play kid can run and rope the ball when he needs to. Runs like Vince Young and throws like Steve Young. Maybe he needs more than a summer to get used to the speed of the game but man we could put up some points if he can get out there and produce

he just didnt seem comfy or confident last year. maybe with a years experience under his belt that will change, although i dont see him getting much time at the qb position this year

He's not a QB. Never will be. One year under his belt? He got to the final game and looked worse than ever.

The best chance he's got is as a joker's wild player...meaning in a position where you can utilize his skills.

Dropping back and passing he can't do. Even at WVU he was in the shotgun/spread.

it still is too early to tell, even though he looks like a bust at qb. we shall see

So u think its time to try him out at (wr) or let him stay at (qb) and if he fails this year then see what we can get for him or let him go all together?

Not really...doesn't take long to figure out if a qb's got it or not.

he didnt get much playing time though. i mean, they could try him at other positions if they want to...i am not sure what they drafted him to do. i was very pissed when they wasted a second on him. maybe he needs a year of holding a clip board and learning...who knows

I was the same way bout the second rd pick on him...at this point I say try him at (wr) and if is any good then his a.. stays out there if he dont like it then we can get rid of him

A clipboard and pen is all fine and dandy, but it won't make him any tougher. The guy looks like he should be playing baseball, not football.

LOL Kurt was determined not to have it coming out of college, was picked up in GB in 94 where I really dont think he ever had a chance to even be considered, then he went and developed a little more in the arena leagues and CFL.... Then came into the NFL and really took it to another level...

If Pat White is the next Kurt Warner we should do him a favor and cut him so he goes and works his arse off t become a better player... But lets be realistic, Pat White was never drafted thinking he was going to be the guy... I really dont think so anyway.. It was a draft pick used to get a situational player... If it worked we would be praising them for it, but it didnt so we are all sore about it....

We have 4 QB's on the roster and are still showing interest in others... I dont think they are happy with the depth yet.....

Kurt Warner could actually throw a football.

Pat White would have to make monumental strides to even be considered as talented as David Woodley or Kordell Stewart.

I love how some of the same guys who yell at others to give young players time to develop, are the ones sitting here yelling about how Pat White was a failed project.... baffles me... really does.

It's probably easier to predict what Pat White won't do this year. Who would have said that he wouldn't complete a pass last year out of the wild pat?

After the hit that he took to end his season, he would probably run out of bounds more than Ted Ginn.
