4 Yr deal? Thought picks that high were 5 yr deals?

I think the FINZ have the option on year 5 is how the contract reads.
Nice to have all players inked for tomorrow morning. Trying NOT to drink this kool-aid and get excited as it's been so long since our team was relevant, but cautiously optimistic.

No they are 4 year deals, some have an optional 5th I believe.

In exchange for Jordan accepting offset language, the Dolphins agreed to increase his up-front payment. There was some speculation that Jordan could miss a couple days of training camp, but he avoided a holdout. On the field, it will be interesting to see where the Dolphins line up Jordan. He can play defensive end, outside linebacker, and cover tight ends in a Charles Woodson-type role.

If we could FINALLY cover a TE? After all these years? That Colts game where we held the ball for 45 minutes and still lost???

If Gronk struggles to get healthy and stay that way (as usual) and now no more Hernandez? Suddenly, I like our chances to at least split with the Pats.

Good news in getting Jordan signed. The kid will need all the practice and training he can get to handle things at the NFL level, even with his freakish physical talent.
