Nice to have him back. Great dude. RT @ProFootballTalk Dolphins choose WR Julius Pruitt over Austin Collie, per league source.

Wallace & Pruitt were two I was hoping Miami struck gold with a few yrs ago. Shame neither worked out.

The Miami Herald reports free agent WR Early Doucet tried out for the Seahawks on Tuesday.
The report comes via Miami because the Dolphins reportedly wanted to work Doucet out, but he "already had a Seattle tryout booked." The Seahawks may be looking at Doucet to buffer their receiver corps in the wake of Percy Harvin's hip surgery. Doucet has garnered surprisingly little interest since being released by the Cardinals in March, conducting no known workouts before Tuesday.

Wow. So this is their chicken s*** solution. Rather than sign an established veteran who can do some damage to secondaries, they bring back a guy who they dumped last year. Great job Jeff.

Where's the PFF on all these FA WRs?

Yep... the season is over now. I'm not even going to watch.

Ha! Ha! Funny!

Let's hope no more of our starting wide outs go down as then a move like picking up Pruitt could haunt them later vs. a veteran. I get that they are selecting a young guy that is already familiar with the Dolphins system, WR depth is all I see this in this signing.

I take it for what it is worth at this point.

Pruitt brings more ST value than receiving help. From what I've read the ST unit looked pretty bad in the scrimmage.

Why overpay veteran guys now when plenty more will be available in September. I get the whole "acorns" joke, but it makes more sense to see what you have in a young guy. Binns may have challenged Gibson, but its not like Miami has to replace Wallace or Hartline at the moment.
