Post Dolphins have capable RBs, but not complete RBs

The Dolphins might have a bit of a problem at running back. They have enough players, but they don't have a complete player.

Lamar Miller, last year's fourth-round pick, is fast and elusive, but needs to work on pass protection and third-down situations.

Daniel Thomas, the third-year player from Kansas State, is a good third-down back but he doesn't have the all-around running skills and big-play threat of Miller. Miller and Thomas have been alternating with the first team.

Further down the line there's rookie Mike Gillislee ...

There's also Jonas Gray ...

The Dolphins don't want to get into a situation where they play Miller on first and second downs, and then insert Thomas when it's third down because they need pass protection, short-yardage gains or a reception. That's too predictable. But that's the direction things are headed. ,,, ... um=twitter

That is the way it is now ...Unless you have an AP you go situational running back
