Per PFT

Didn't see that one coming. I guess that means Patterson is starting.

Knew they were neck and neck. Marshall is coming off the back and I know the Dolphins liked what they saw from Patterson on a limited basis last year before he got hurt.

Figured they wanted to keep both of the young CB's they drafted. It will be interesting to see if Nolan Carrol hangs on.

I don't like this..Why do we keep getting rid of good depth?

Bess and Marshall are bad moves and keeping Bush would have made the team better...There is cap room. why no o lineman during the offseason?

For all the good moves made i just don't get the penny pinching

think they would re-sign him for less if he doesn't get picked up elsewhere?

Well this caught me by surprise. Would rather have seen Nolan Carroll get the axe, but I guess that's why I'm here and not in the front office

I agree with this move if he was no longer worth the investment, someone else will step up.

Nolan Carroll, I also agree that unless he makes a miraculous turn for the better, he doesn't seem to be sticking like glue to anyone in coverage and seems to trail the receiver an awful lot.

Kev mentioned Davone Bess in this thread as a misfire letting him go, but from what I have seen of Gibson so far, I like him a lot, so I don't think we will suffer on that trade off at all......at least in my opinion.

Hes better than Marshall, and we are still a little ways off from the final 53.

He didn't look that good to me in the preseason, and he was definitely a disappointment when he played last year. I was hoping Patterson would stick.

.... and you think people in St. Louis have heard squat about Gibson so far? Absolutely not.

Both players are with new teams still trying to get acclimated. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, as I know there's always a rush to defend every move made by this organization. Let's come back to this discussion at the EOY.

Much like your nonsensical comment was on cue the second Bess was mentioned.

Come on Swerve I know your on the homer side of things and Bess is gone...But to insinuate that the wr's wouldn't be better with him on the squad is a little crazy...

He was a good player and maybe a little overpaid but who gives a crap at this point we have plenty of cap for a couple of these guys that make the team better and are dependable.........

They are just being cheep at this point...Marshall would have been good depth, heck he was in competition for the starting job.

I know we can't keep all these guys but a couple would have made the team better.

Fasano Dansby Bess Bush Long Marshall...I wouldn't mind having one or two of those guys around right now....A little to much transition on the roster if you ask me..

For what ? More cap space that is not being used

We don't need another pass rusher. We don't need another pass rusher.

We need a franchise tackle... We need a franchise tackle .

Jordan is a super star...I love that we traded up for him
