I just re-watched the enitre game. I can't believe how many blitzes the Dolphins dialed up. I know there were very few times they rushed just 3 or 4. It was amazing to watch. I think when we play young QBs, they can expect a steady diet of that.

Wake - I originally said the guy was a beast yesterday. Holy crap. He had like 5 or 6 near sacks. He had 2.5 sacks. He was just freakin' unreal. If he stays healthy...I think the NFL sack record is in jeopardy. :runwiththeball:

I don't know how often Ellerbe or Wheeler joined in on the blitz, but the purpose of bringing them in was their speed and ability to help in blitz packages. It definately worked on Sunday. Here's hoping for 15 more games like that one!!

Sure hope Miami swarms all over Luck this week, we will need to rattle his cage for sure.

Pressure from the front will create the turnovers, which was great to see in the Cleveland game.

You got it. That was my point all offseason, pressure makes the corners better.

He deserves it, but the team as a whole needs to get better before individual effort will be rewarded.

POY is given to a player whos efforts helped the team reach the next level. Unfortunately Wake has been a bright spot on a rather dim team, if we can keep the take aways coming and get into the 10 win area and he is at least as good as last year, he will be a front runner.

I like what I am seeing from Croyle's defense, 2nd year incharge with a switch to 4-3 and we are looking like we could be a top unit.
