I see the Dolphins going DT or OT with their first pick in 2014. Still, you never know who we pick up in free agency.

Quote:
24. Miami Dolphins: Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame

Nix would be an absolute steal down here — the safe money is on the hulking Notre Dame interior lineman being a top-15 pick when all is said and done. The Dolphins need to start planning for the future up front, with a frustrated Randy Starks playing on a franchise tag and Paul Soliai set to hit free agency.

I don't think there's any way that Nix will be there in the mid twenties

I wouldn't doubt it.

One of the most over rated prospect in the country right now, IMO. I don't see a dominant DT at the next level when I watch him.

Look at the Alabama tape. He got pushed around pretty good, and it wasn't just against double teams.

Nix might be the 3rd best player on Notre Dame's DL.

If I judged solely based upon the Alabama tape, I wouldn't have drafted Manti Te'o at all. One bad game shouldn't be your only point of measure.

It shouldn't, but it should be a huge factor.

Notre Dame doesn't face a lot of NFL talent on their schedule. Alabama's O-line gives him that opportunity.
