It took me hours to put it together. The only way that I can find to get it done is to do it with a couple Coronas ... and the lime;)

Interesting, Dan Williams and Dez Bryant account for nearly half of the selections.

I still like Bryant if he's there at 12. We can address NT, S, OLB in later rounds, IMO.

I agree with you on Bryant, but OLB will be addressed very early, 2nd or 3rd round at the latest if Bryant is the pick.

If no move is made to secure JT (which its not looking likely), then I agree with OLB being an early pick (I'm thinking 2nd round). I'd look for us to grab an extra 3rd round pick in this draft and address the NT position there.

The Dolphins really cannot go wrong with any of those guys. Who do I like? I'm favoring DE/OLB Brandon Graham right now. The guy is very disruptive.

I don't think Dan Williams is rated as high by our FO. They keep talking about being lots of good NT's in the later rounds..of course that could be a smokescreen but they are showing a lot of interest in people like Troupe(sp)..

I think the choice is really between (if Earl Thomas is rated high by them) Earl or Kindle at that pick..a dark horse is Bryant if he's there...and of course anything could shift depending on the previous pick. A trade down would be good for us

I don't see the pick being a NT. I just can't. I am starting more and more to see the possibility of Earl Thomas if he gets there.

To me though, I think it has to come down to an OLB or Dez Bryant.

Brandon Graham is the OLB that I really like; hopefully Ireland and Parcells are not stubborn in their size prefference, and they see the great player that Graham is.

That is the one factor I think we all need to look at for Miami, there preference for size. Parcells OLB average 6'3, 250 lbs during his tenure, and there are some very good prospects that don't meet that criteria. Brandon Graham and Jerry Hughes, just to name a few.

This was something Jeff Ireland said in his interview, and there is no doubt that one of the positions he is talking about is 34 OLB.

Quote:
There's certain positions that you're very strict on your prototype with. And ½ inch, ¼ inch sometimes doesn't make that big a difference to me but it's the combination of the height, weight, speed is the most important probably and again certain positions I'm going to be more strict than other positions. Certain positions in this league, over time would tell you that small players don't have much success

Graham isn't a quarter, or a half inch shorter than the proto-typical 6'3-6'4 that they like. He's a full 2' - 2.5' shorter.

I actually see it as an advantage to be a little lower to the ground on the strong side, however, clearly they don't see it that way.

The thing is for all of our needed positions, there are later round guys that I like that I think that could fill the need, except for WR. I don't see one possible dominant, #1 WR in the draft other than Dez Bryant.
