I think it also has to do with him understanding the play and not trying to make something from nothing, if the hole is not there and the play does not develop just put the shoulders down and take a small pick up...

Reggie found himself in neg yardage plays too much trying to bounce it outside, Philbin was critical of it during the season. He does not like it. Just push forward and take whats there..

Right on. If Lamar Miller played in the Houston Texans or Denver Broncos blocking scheme, he would probably really flourish. Hopefully, Miami adjusts to his talents or else he could be taking much more of a pounding carrying the rock.

On a more serious note, this kid went to MY high school, which has put some serious football talent in the college ranks and had a few players become NFL standouts. He is a star in the making. The only reason he wasn't the second option behind Reggie Bush is because he was having trouble picking up blitzes. But that can be worked on.

I can tell you why.....he is a lot cheaper than Bush.
