Thank you!!!!!! 2 really good pass rushers with Starks, Odrick and Vernon maybe getting better with the linebackers blitzing we should really improve in the secondary

I was sayin a while back that the phins should target the Bennett brothers, Martellus and Michael. They have publicly stated that they wanted to play for thsame team, together. They were both products of TAMU, so Im pretty sure Sherman has some type of familiarity with them as Sherman has always been tied to the Aggies. I think Bennett would be that much needed pass rush opposite Wake...both Michael and Martellus were needs on this team, too bad Martellus has already signed Chicago.

To me its about the effort, the games he played well when they allowed him to jam was him being a stud because of the effort but i dont see him as a top worker ready to be elite

 Re: Sean Smith a Chief
The Dolphins have not dipped into the CB market at all. Literally zero interest in free agent CBs. I think the strategy might very well be to sign Bennett and draft two CBs.
I'm guessing Patterson will be part of the plan, but his deal will be restructured. There is no way they move forward with two years of $5 mil cap hits. They may give Carroll, Standford and Marshall a shot to fight it out in camp... but they will be drafting at least one corner, probably two.
With our defensive front 7 if we had Bennett and with the continuity at safety, I feel good about this approach.
Our defense would be set for 2013.
We'd still need to address TE, WR and offensive line in the draft as well.

 Re: Sean Smith a Chief
I think Bennett is intriguing, however I did read from Chris Kouffman that Bennett's production on the right side (where he would undoubtedly be playign) drop significantly compared to on the right (where he is a top 10 pass rushing and run stopping DE according to PFF), which is sort of alarming. I bet either way it'd be an upgrade from Odrick, but I'm afraid at the money that might be spent for a potentially average RDE.

 Re: Sean Smith a Chief
swerve, Cary Williams signed with Philly. As far as Sean is concerned, I think he is lucky to get what he got.
There more than enough film to see how inconsistent he is. And to be such a big cornerback, he certainly does not want to come up and hit anybody.
I think we can say that Xavier Rhodes of Florida State could be in play at #12.
