Re: Rams, Long in Contract Negotiations We must be looking at some serious negotiations in regards to incentives and other issues in regards to this negotiations.
Wonder if this still could break down?

Re: Rams, Long in Contract Negotiations I think Jake Long is now realizing that the Dolphins offer is not as bad as he thought. The Dolphins gave him a very solid offer when you consider his injury history and drop in play the last 2 years.
Could he play at a Pro Bowl level again, possibly, but here and now, he is not that caliber of player and he is realizing the league looks at him in that manner.
The fact that we are going into Friday and he and his wife is having to think on it tells you that. Would love to have him back, and I guess we will know on Friday.
