One way or another Miami needs another edge rusher. Vernon was a rookie, but was also inconsistent. IMO, Miami needs to draft another young impact rusher and/OR sign Freeney or Abraham as depth to provide pressure. Personally, I would sign Abraham for a one year deal, if the money is right as he was still very effective last season.
Sorry to tell ya but Abraham was already given his chance with us. A report came out yesterday that we got him a flight and scheduled a meeting time for him at the facility. Well for reasons unknown, he missed the flight. He bought his own ticket for a later departure and came down but the Dolphins FO had already moved on.

Free agent DE John Abraham showed up at the Dolphins' facility last week, but may have never met with club officials.
There have been conflicting reports on the visit, but PFT's "best guess" is that it occurred Tuesday night. Per NFL.com's Jeff Darlington -- a former Miami Herald reporter -- Abraham was at the team facility but at a later date than the Fins expected. Abraham reportedly missed his initial flight, but booked a new one on his own dime to rekindle interest. Dolphins sources tell Darlington the team still did not meet with Abraham. After all that, Abraham remains a free agent

I found it interesting and I don't blame this regime for its integrity
