Dan Le Batard: It’s hard to feel good and trust Miami ...
Quote: Dan Le Batard: It’s hard to feel good and trust Miami Dolphins when so many mistakes have been made By Dan Le Batard dlebatard@MiamiHerald.comIt is difficult to see things clearly in this purgatory. Your eyes are filled with the odd combination of hope and mistrust. A man betrays a woman for a decade, she’ll be armed with skepticism when he shows up with flowers and chocolates promising yet again to change. But here’s the thing: Dolphin fans want so badly to believe in this kind of romance, which made last week feel like wowing and wooing despite all the baggage and scars, and now anyone who cares about this team is stuck between wanting to think things are fixed and not trusting the people doing the fixing. It is quite the oxymoron — pregnant with anticipation, hoping not to get screwed. ... We don’t know In football especially, talent evaluation is so subjective we really don’t have any idea if the Dolphins got better last week. We know they got different and younger. But better? It is impossible to know. And it is worth pointing out that all these exciting, new solutions came in just as all the expensive, old alleged solutions were leaving. If you distrust, it was like General Manager Jeff Ireland was playing one of those street-hustler shell games, moving pieces around so fast on a table, hoping to trick you into believing it was real magic instead of a con. ... Such an odd marriage, hope and mistrust. Can somehow make the draft feel like the solution even though it has been the problem. Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/03/16/3 ... rylink=cpy

LeBatard has been blasting every move since FA started. Sometimes he makes sense but that radio station is so , so pro Heat I think they want other pro sports teams in Miami to fail.

I laughed, I cried... I shook my head continuously.
May not be what anyone wants to hear but this article is so true on so many levels.

Dan Le Bastard is what he is.
That being said, it doesn't make a lot of what he says any less true.

That being said, it doesn't make a lot of what he says any less true. It's funny because even after the Heat won the title with Wade, the Dolphins still ran Miami. It wasn't until LeBron got there that things changed and the title last year just cemented their dominance. My point is as soon as the Dolphins win the division first and a playoff game (yes I said playoff game) things will start to change and when (yes I said when) they reach the AFC championship game Dolphins will take a slight lead. If a Super Bowl is won then you might be able to buy a Heat jersey for $20. Just my opinion from listening to Miami sports talk radio everyday!

This is definitely the year of Ireland. If his moves pan out, he'll probably be considered one of the best GMs in the league, if not, then say goodbye. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, particularly on the offense. Could anyone really have been expected to find players to make Sparono's system work? After second thought, I guess we could have picked up Gus, the magical kicking donkey.

All local radio shows are typically negative. Boomer & Carton tear apart the Jets every single day...
Sirius has a much better football cast in my opinion. I couldn't live without Sirius / XM NFL Radio.
