wouldn't mind nabbing Tavon's buddy

According to STATS ICE, West Virginia's Stedman Bailey made more "clutch receptions" in 2012 than any top draft-eligible receiver on a minimum of 100 targets.
"Clutch receptions" are defined as catches that went for a first down or touchdown. Scheme, quarterback play, and competition can affect stats like this, but it's still interesting that Bailey dominated the field with 72 "clutch" catches amongst 148 targets (48.6 percent). Next closest was Oregon State's Markus Wheaton, with 64 "clutch" catches on 141 passes his way (45.4 percent).

Given the team needs and his projected draft spot (2nd/3rd Rd) its hard to see.

Miami already has Wallace, Hartline, Gibson and Bess. I've also read that Binns actually plays the slot well in multi receiver sets and Matthews was reliable when put on the field. They have Fuller and Tyms for the PS.

Just seems like overkill when they can load up on depth for the OL, DL, TE and CB positions in rounds 2-4 (if Bailey even falls that far).

I prefer Turquad Dingleberry in the 4th round.

I agree, we're already stacked at receiver.

The only receiver move I'd care to see from Miami would be one where they broker a deal and move Bess in order to add a new slot receiver with more speed.

Whether they package Bess and a 2nd round pick to move up into the late 1st to get Austin, or they trade Bess for a 3rd or maybe 4th and then use that pick to add Swope. I think Swope and Austin are both dymanic slot receivers that could add speed and save money.

He won't be there in the 3rd for us to take him...he's gone before the end of the 2nd!
