It was really intriguing to see all that happened. What a roller coaster ride that must have been. It definitely shows a lot of the behind the scenes stuff. Was really awesome to see how Danny showed them all in the end what they all missed out on and all what we got to be blessed to see.

Hands down, I'm gonna just say it. Dan Marino will go down in History as the Best to Ever put on a Dolphin uniform. I may be biased but I also believe the Best Ever Quarterback to throw the football in the NFL...

Hope some of you got to see the show.

I think we all believe in our hearts that Dan is the best quarterback to ever play. But if I'm using my head, he's in my Top 5, but I can't put him at the top of the list. As much as that hurts me to say.

Seriously, I have a pain in my chest just typing that.

I still say Danny was the best pure passer to play the game. Coming out of college and his first five NFL years before his knees took a toll, he was AMAZING. I still get goose bumps watching how quickly he moved around the pocket and could elude the rush and zing the ball 60 yards seemingly on a rope. Of course, all throughout his career was his ability to side step the rush and use his lightning quick release.

He may not go down as the best NFL QB of all-time, but given a better supporting cast throughout different years of his career, i would have loved to have seen his numbers and I believe he would have won a Superbowl.

Top 5 is probably about right. 30 for 30 show was cool to watch. Boy, Elway looks older than he should be.

I am biased too, but I think Marino is the best passing QB to ever play the game.

Given a better supporting cast and there is no question in my mind he would be far and away the best QB in the history of the game. But, as history played out, I can only put him as my fourth. That being said, I don't think anyone has ever thrown a better ball than Dan.

I don't have a DVR, does anyone know if this will be released on demand or on their website?

I know it'll be on again tomorrow night on ESPN2. Probably not helpful, but that's all I got

Alright thanks, I appreciate it. Definitely checking it out if it's one tomorrow, was out all night, but knew it debuted earlier. Hopefully I can catch a re-run.

put Dan on that Niner squad back then and he'd have a gaggle of rings too.

Maybe, maybe not.

Marino certainly had the quick release, but would he have fit in a West Coast Offense? He was never very mobile outside of the pocket, his play action was less than stellar and he liked going downfield.

Certainly the talent surrounding him would have been superior, but the system needs to work for the player as well.

Joe Montana was pretty successful with Bill Walsh and a West Coast Offense and I don't remember seeing highlights of him running down the field.

Who said anything about running down the field?

Montana was darn athletic.

Most elusive side step in Football has to go to Danny... I was always surprised how much trouble he could get out of with just his quick little side step. His pocket awareness was amazing.

I do agree with Rich. We sure didn't see Dan roll out much. Especially in the latter part of his career. I'm sure his knees didn't help him a lot.

OK, well then put Marino on the 90's Cowboys teams and he'd have 5 rings.
If Aikman and Terry Bradshaw can win a ton of rings so could Marino.

That's a harder one to counter. I would just say that maybe Jimmy would have put the shackles on him like he did in Miami. :)

If Marino played in this era, he would shatter every record and they would never be touched.

very true Mak. When Brees broke his record some writer did an article on it and he extrapolated Marino's numbers under today's rules and estimated a 6,000 yard season with 60 touchdowns.
