My understanding of the Bryant McKinnie situation: He has offers from #Dolphins and #Chargers. Still weighing them, negotiating.

Bryant McKinnie update, per source, offers from Chargers, Dolphins; Cowboys have made inquiry about left tackle as well.

Please do not bring that slob in here. Between his weight issues and money problems, the guy doesn't have a clean slate. Too many distractions.

He was part of the Love Boat incident in Minnesota.

I honestly don't care which way the Dolphins go. Just get a OT in here for this year. I think next draft will be a good way to address the position rather than committing long-term to an aging tackle.

Not just that....He has decided his teams in the past are just not a priority to him.

And now he is coming off a Super Bowl win and is the definition of a fat cat with better things to do.

Serious buyer beware here. Just don't see him making the team.

There's gotta be a better option.

I'll pat myself on the shoulder for posting about McKinnie being a possibility :yay:

But honelstly I'd rather sign Winston and put Martin at LT....I don't trust McKinnie anymore.... :boo:

At this point, if he can play he can play. We'll have 52 "good guys" on the team...I don't care if the 53rd has a dirty past, honestly, as long as he isn't cussing out Philbin in front of the team or getting suspended.

I get your point, but I think it might be naive to think we have "52 good guys"

Did he have the same distractions last year?

He most certainly did. Forunately for him, he had a team around him elevate their play in the playoffs and go on to win the Super Bowl.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh held out starting left tackle Bryant McKinnie from the team's first full-team practice of training camp because he is "too heavy."

McKinnie, 33, has been dealing with weight issues throughout his 11-year career. When he signed a two-year, $7 million contract in May, McKinnie agreed to play at a lighter weight, even lower than last year's playing weight of 352 pounds. But that apparently didn't happen

Still weighing them, negotiating.

In other words, "i'll wait until training camp is over".

Big fat tub o' lard. There's a reason why he got kicked off the Pro Bowl team recently.
