Since the offseason is slow for Dolphins news, I thought it would be fun to pass the time with a little Dolphins trivia. The rules are simple. The first person to get the correct answer asks the next question. Here's the first one:

This Dolphin started his career as an outside linebacker but was moved to middle linebacker after John Offerdahl's sudden retirement in the middle of the 1994 season. He is notoriously known for challenging the entire Cincinatti bench to a fight during a game in his rookie year in 1991, and for giving the middle finger to Bills fans in Buffalo. Name him.

This Dolphin broke his forearm in the AFC Championship game in 1973, and had a rod inserted into his forearm, allowing him to play in the Super Bowl.

Bob Kuechenberg

This Dolphin is the all time Dolphin scorer between 1966 and 2000.

This Dolphin was selected in the 2nd Round, 53rd overall... Miami's first selection in the 2000 NFL Draft.

These two Dolphins were 12th round picks that became starters. The only Dolphins to earn that honor.

J.B. Brown is one.

Had to look this one up. Mike Kolen

Does this question only mean became starters for the Dolphins?

Anthony Carter was also a 12th Rd. pick, but was traded for a really nice bag of peanuts and became a PB player for Vikes

Yes. Only starters for the Dolphins. And I didn' t know Mike Kolen was a 12th round starter. That's not the guy I was looking for. You were correct with J.B. Brown. Here's a hint: The other guy I'm looking for went to the University of Miami and started alongside J.B. Brown in 1991, which could explain why our secondary sucked that year.

You would be referring to Bobby Harden then. I did not factor him in since he only started 5 games during 4 yr. career.

Eddie Moore. Miami has not had good luck with UT players. Hoping Dallas Thomas breaks that.

This Dolphin had a penchant for showing up to training camp overweight. Despite doing so, he was one of Jimmy Johnson's favorite defensive backs. It was Dave Wannstedt who finally had the guts to give him a pink slip when he did it for the fourth year in a row and no one picked him up.

You made me work hard for that one, I had to do quite a bit of research. Definitely not an "off the top of my head" answer!

This guy was a first round pick for the Dolphins, but due to injuries only played 9 games in three seasons before being cut.
