Post Miami Herald WR Projection
No Rishard Matthews? Of course, things change at the bottom of the wide receiver depth when the pads come on.

As a disclaimer, this is based on what we’ve seen thus far (which, in shorts and jerseys, hasn’t been much).

Mike Wallace
Brian Hartline
Brandon Gibson
Armon Binns
Marvin McNutt

A previous Herald report indicated Matthews was standing out at OTAs, but his consistency must have become an issue. The Herald now projects the Fins to keep five wide receivers: Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Brandon Gibson, Armon Binns, and Marvin McNutt. If Matthews can't beat out McNutt and Binns on a level playing field, then perhaps he doesn't belong in the league anyway.

keep Matthews and McNutt and ditch Binns. But maybe Jasper Collins blows the coaches away.

As someone from Iowa who has watched McNutt play his entire collegiate career, if Mathews can't beat him out for a roster spot, he doesn't deserve to be in the league.

I wonder what's going to happen when the pads go on. Binns hands were inconsistant at best last year. We will see.
