Post Day 10 - OT Martin still struggling, CB Davis on fire
-- Another sack by Vernon. He beat Martin, who seems to be having rough day.

-- Another pass breakup for Will Davis. Don't want to over-hype him, but he's having a good day.

-- Olivier Vernon sack of Tannehill. Looked like he beat Martin badly.

-- Tannehill nice scramble. He looks pretty agile.

-- Odrick has slight limp & not carrying helmet.

-- Looks like Jamar Taylor fully active. Hasn't sat out anything so far. Doing 1-on-1 drills now.

-- Will Davis another pick in end zone. That's 3 today. Damn. This is just 1-on-1 drill but still...

The Davis story is going to be really interesting to watch in the Pre Season.

I wasn't a huge fan of the pick because I thought he was a huge project, but there's clearly plenty of talent there to mold. I want to see what he looks like in game action and see if he's consistently tight in coverage, or if it's just a big play here and there.

Either way, looks like he could contribute this season and he's bringing a skill set the secondary desperately needs.

Same.

I absolutely hated the pick at the time and wanted them to snag some receiving talent. Hopefully this can continue for him when it actually counts.

To me the bigger story is the fact that Martin is still struggling

I wonder what the back up plan is if Martin continues to struggle. I wonder if Clabo could be switched to the left tackle postion if there is no improvement in Martin's play. I know its early but I am really concerned about the o-line right now.

Did Martin play ok last year at LT? I don't remember Martin getting mauled too bad or letting Tannehill get creamed last year? Did I miss something? I'm not saying Martin's perfect or we don't need to think of a replacement later, but Tannehill is very good at rolling to his right keep in mind. Maybe our D-Line is that good.
Just throwing a bit of optimism out there.

blowing up in our faces.
Draft pundits are looking smart for saying it was Miami's biggest need.
