 Our Safety's
It is safe to say, Gibril Wilson was not what we expected. I believe Tyrone Culver deserves a shot at the starting job before we look elsewhere ! Does anyone agree ?

Gibril Wilson was what I expected. A strong safety out of position. Tyrone Culver hasn't proven anything. He deserves to compete for the starting job, but we should also look elsewhere.

Even better, move GW to SS where he belongs, and try Culver as FS....He has proven something by being all over the field in my opionion..

I watch just about every play of every game....I have to say #29 (Culver) is all over the field during his special team plays and when used in a dime package....I would like to see him try starting FS.....

What do you think about Clemons? He made some nice plays.

 Re: Our Safety's
We need some talent back there for sure... Culver and Clemons could be good one day, but they don't seem to be enough to start right now... I say keep filling them in on those 3 safety sets and as fill-ins for breathing time for the starters

I did see that mentally, he wasn't ready to be on the field. He looked lost at times, took poor angles and gave up plays as well.

 Re: Our Safety's
i think yerimiah bell is average or slightly above at best, and gibril wilson.... for god's sake he got cut by the raiders, whats that say about what he brings to the table. then again for the sake of honesty our safetys are only as good as the nine fellows in front of them. but i deffinetly shudder to think that gibril wilson is our last line of defense between a defensive stop and a six

 Re: Our Safety's
Dave Casale out of UAlbany is a sleeper at the FA FS position; great tackler dominating size at 6'2" 220, 4.53 40 time. Great range and closing speed; could help the D in the 2010 nfl draft

How many times was the CB further back than Wilson???
