The most important news Wednesday was Miami Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Wake (knee) practiced. He dressed and did individual drills in the portion of practice open to the media. However, Wake sat out of team drills and backup Derrick Shelby lined up with the first team defense.
Miami starting linebacker Koa Misi also practiced ...

It sounds as if the Dolphins and Wake was to see him in passing situations. I'd rather rest him.

Wake practices on a limited basis

Since the Dolphins don’t play the Saints until Monday night, Miami’s first official injury report isn’t due until Thursday. But since they take Thursdays off, they practiced on Wednesday.

And defensive end Cameron Wake, who reportedly could miss some time with a sprained MCL, participated on a limited basis.

Via James Walker of ESPN.com, Wake participated in individual drills during the portion of the practice the media was permitted to watch. He didn’t participate in team drills; Derrick Shelby took Wake’s place with the starting defense.

Wake injured the knee on the opening drive of Sunday’s win over the Falcons. He registered one hit on quarterback Matt Ryan before exiting.

I guess in this situation you have to trust the team doctors. I hope they get it right.

Its really on the coach, he has to make the call. Wake obviously is not going to sit unless told to.

You didn't really mean this comment I hope.....if so, Wake's injury vs how Solias is recovering doesn't compare at all. Every player recovers and heals differently.

DAVIE - The Dolphins' two starting defensive linemen nursing knee injuries are pushing to prove they can play in Monday night's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Defensive tackle Paul Soliai, who missed last week's game because of a sprained left knee, and defensive end Cameron Wake, who suffered a mild MCL sprain in his left knee during Sunday's win over the Falcons, both participated in the portions of Thursday's practice the media attended.

No need to rush and risk more injury like Washington did with RG3.
