Joe Philbin wasn’t kidding when last week he said that he believes in the guys the Dolphins have on the offensive line.

As the team returned from its five-day bye-week vacation, it did so with no changes to its offensive front.

Part of the problem is the pass/run imbalance. We need to run the ball and stay committed. SD last night stayed with the run and pounded the Colts into submission and they haven't been able to run.

Wondering if Yeatman as a 6th blocker will be employed. He's athletic enough.

Of course it takes either the 3rd WR, TE or RB off the field.

Status Quo baby! Trash that creative thinking boys! Be prepared for at least 2 more student body left/right on short yardage.

Didn't they go to that last year.

I have no idea. Getting Tannehill on the move might help the problem for pass protection. Yeatman used to be a TE so I'm wondering if he can't slip away and be a psuedo receiving full back to pick up some yards on a dump off pass aka keep the defenses guessing.

We're so uncreative with play calling... it's so sad.

We dump the ball off the Marcus Thigpen, he runs for 20+... we never do it again.

If it works, don't do it. <= Mike Sherman coaching motto.

San Diego killed the Colts with those short crossing routes last night. Let's hope Sherman was watching.

I'll bet you $20 bucks we see that stupid sweep at least once and it wouldn't surprise me to see it in short yardage again. ... and you'll be back on here defending it again. :boo:

As an elder statesman on this site, you always seem to sound a bit jaded in most all your comments. It has to be because like myself, we remember the 1970 powerhouse teams to the Woodley era to the Marino era where although we didn't win a championship, every year we felt our team was viable to compete (except for a few of the .500 record centric seasons).

Now I am guessing your fairly negative all the time because you have seen nothing but snake bitten teams year in and year out (except for the flash in the pan in 2008) whether it be by poor GM decisions, poor coaching and a Goat Rodeo of overall decision making.

I could be way off base, but I understand......Pick Drew Brees in the 2001 draft......Nahhh, let's get Jamat Fletcher instead......Drew Brees again!! Nahhh, let's get Dante Culpepper instead.....Anquan Boldin!!! Nahhh. Let's get Eddie Moore instead......

Hey, at the end of the day, we are still die hard Dolphin fans. One day, we will see the silver lining again.
