Not sure who will be there, but of the guys still on the board I wouldn't mind seeing the fins take:

- Sergio Kindle
- Nate Allen
- Everson Griffen
- Taylor Mays

hope one of those guys are there when the Fins pick in round 2.

Not sure if the Regime is all set at NT with the Odrick pick or not.......if not then I'll add Cody to my list as well.

50/50 with you. I think I would really look at Misi. If not Benn. I just don't like Allen in this spot because I think I would rate Major Wright higher and I think he'd be there in the 3rd.

As a gator fan--- not a big major wright guy... more a SS guy...not as good in coverage
Nate Allen-- more a FS guy...

I'd be going crazy with Kindle though....

Cody! Cody! Cody!
I hope we take Cody guys. He would be the run stuffing monster we need at NT. Odrick was an excellent pick up because he can play DE on 1st and 2nd down, then switch to NT on 3rd to pass rush. Odrick is also stout against the run. Can you imagine adding two run stoppers of that caliber to our line, we'd shut everyone down on the ground. I can't wait for tomorrow!

I think Odrick will play the NT---- he played mostly Defensive Tackle at PSU...... yes, can play DE--but i think he will play mostly NT for the Phins....best chance for him to start.... DE would be for depth or packages....

OLB , S and maybe WR should be the pick IMO

I was pretty shocked when we didn't pick kindle at 28. And I'll be pretty upset if he's still available at 40, which i doubt, and we pass again.

I don't know, guys. Cody's weight issues scare me. Mays is supposed to be weak in coverage. I'd think the best available pass rusher is the right move. I don't think there's much chance of taking an offensive player here, but what do any of us know?

Word is coming out that teams passed on Kindle because his knees may require micro fracture surgery. That may be enough for Miami to look elsewhere for an OLB.

It would give him a year to add some bulk could be a steal

Arrelius Benn would be a terrible choice in my opinion. They aren't known for developing players at Illinois (Juice Williams anyone?) and Benn had very limited experience as a true receiver. I'd much rather draft a guy like Mardy Gilyard if what we want is another speedy receiver. However, I see a defensive heavy draft coming our way.

Benn was stud coming out of HS... considered Miami, FSU, ND...etc

Limited experience? - Kid played 3 years starting WR, 6th alltime receiving yards at Ill, lead team in receptions for 3 years... 54 receptions, 646 yds as a freshman... plently of experience...

Think the pick will be OLB....... but Benn would be a nice pick.... could win #2 job... Hartline in the slot...

Not saying it will happen, saying I would love it. Guy is dynamic and a game-changer.

Quote:
...
Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen – QB not a need since four are on the roster. But teams might want to trade up to get him.

Illinois WR Arrelius Benn – Impressive athleticism, but inconsistent hands. However, he would bring a return element. But WR is pretty crowded right now, and that’s after dumping Ted Ginn Jr.

Notre Dame WR Golden Tate – Marginal route runner, but dynamic deep threat. Is also a capable returner. Teams might move up to get him and Benn. Dolphins could benefit from a run on receivers today.

Arizona TE Rob Gronkowski – Some teams are scared off by his medical history, which might cause him to drop a round or two more. The Dolphins are looking for a seam threat, and he can be that. But the Dolphins might prefer to wait till day three to add a tight end like UM’s Jimmy Graham or Florida’s Aaron Hernandez.

Maryland OT Bruce Campbell – He’s an athletic freak who is a fairly raw offensive tackle. The Dolphins are set at that spot for now, but Campbell might have the athleticism needed to develop into a starting guard. It’s likely that Oakland will gobble him up early today.
USC OT Charles Brown – He’s probably the best offensive tackle left on the board, and it’s highly likely that a team will offer to trade up to get this two-year starter.

Northwestern DE Corey Wooton – Has the prototype size the Trifecta seek, but there are some concerns about his durability that have him dropping. He might slide out of day two. Dolphins do need some hybrid linebackers in this draft class.

Texas OLBer Sergio Kindle – There are reports that Kindle, who was considered one of this draft’s top hybrid prospects, fell out of the first round because of concerns about a troublesome knee. Are the Dolphins one of the team’s scared off by his knees, and troublesome background?

USC DE Everson Griffin – Has good size and muscularity, and the athleticism to play linebacker. But his inconsistent effort and questionable mental toughness made him slide. It likely means he doesn’t have the Trifiecta’s desired makeup.

UF DE Carlos Dunlap – Great body length, and fluid athlete who might have the versatility to become a hybrid pass rusher. But character questions and a questionable work ethic makes him a boom or bust prospect. He could go today, or might wait till early tomorrow.

Penn State ILBer Sean Lee – Penn State linebacker have excellent instincts, and Lee is no exception. However, his injury history kept him out of the first round. But he is the best inside linebacker available. Too bad the addition of Tim Dobbins means that unit is pretty filled.

Oklahoma State CB Perrish Cox – A run on cornerbacks is expected today, and Cox has outstanding size and length. He also brings added value as a returner. The Dolphins do need a returner, but might get that later in the draft.

USC SS Taylor Mays – Physical freak, who is a workout warrior. But the film doesn’t match his athleticism. The fact he’s more strong safety than free safety makes him less desirable to plenty of NFL teams, including the Dolphins.

USF FS Nate Allen – His decent ball skills and above average athleticism could make him the next safety drafted. A run on that position is expected today and the Dolphins might be left with a third-tier prospects if they don’t pursue one early.

So, who would you be targeting in tonight’s second and third round
