While Spielman didn't do a great job with us the year that he was GM, he had his hands tied that year as the Dolphins were low on talent due to Wannstedt's drafts. This year, even though the Vikings lost their starting QB and starting RB, his team is in the NFC Championship game. Very impressive.

A couple of years ago Doug Marrone was a head coach candidate for Miami. A lot of people laughed but he was going to get serious consideration.

How bad of a visionary was Gus Bradley then? Marrone has a year with his Jags and he accomplishes this? Horrible look for that guy.

When you get Fournette into the fold to take pressure off of Bortles and get healthy on defense...

Marrone did a great job, but I think he had some better pieces and Tom Coughlin's assistance.

No doubt. It's like when Parcells took the Jets job. They had top 5 draft picks every year for a while. Someone of quality was going to win with them. Jags should be loaded with talent. Coughlin even added a couple nice pieces to that defense, too.
