Captain Checkdown vs Captain Handoff .... a battle of titans no doubt. Both Passing attacks are basically anemic. Whomever makes the most big plays in the passing game without turning the ball over, will likely win. I don't see either rushing attack devouring the other. Minnesota's AP got most of his yards when the Dolphins had a 14 point lead and were keyed on stopping the pass. I expect that LT will get a few good draws and screens on us, but other than that, its up to Dirty Sanchez and Ugly Henne. Pressure from the D will of course play its part.
Week 2 FedEx Air & Ground Players of the Week nominees
The NFL announced Monday that quarterbacks Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears, Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets and Matt Schaub of the Houston Texans are the finalists for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week honors for games played on Sept. 19-20, and running backs LeSean McCoy of the Philadelphia Eagles, Darren McFadden of the Oakland Raiders and Jason Snelling of the Atlanta Falcons are the finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
There's still time to vote! I guess you didn't watch the Pats-Jets game, maybe you should.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.
BTW...I'll vote for Matt Schaub since he really didn't have LT eating up huge chunks of yards when his passes were hitting the turf.
