Boomer Esiason predicted Henne ``will make a huge jump next year and should be one of the NFL's top 10 quarterbacks'' eventually. But ``I'd rather have the Jets' roster,'' he said. ``In the AFC East, nobody else has a Darrelle Revis or David Harris. Miami's inside linebackers should be better. Their safeties are stopgaps.''

I listen to this guy every single day on WFAN and every day he gets more and more bias towards the Jets.

Plus his views are just plain idiotic a lot of the time... he's very arrogant and I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt.

The article in and of itself was a good read though.

Considering he played for the Jets, I can see where the bias comes in.

wow, Boomer is like Nostradamus or something. anyone who has watched Henne play going back to his Michigan days knows this guy can play at a high level. If Henne is not a top QB in this league soon it will be a major dissapointment. The only thing I worry about is his big game ability, seems like he always floundered in the big game in college.

I can 1 up this genius. Michael Crabtree will be a top 10 wr in this league, eventually.

Same was said of Peyton Manning. What did Tom Brady win at Michigan for that matter?
I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Hey, with Brown and Williams throwing the ball around, you never know.

Minus his freshman year against Notre Dame and OSU, Henne has always played well when it mattered...just not his team. He blew up in his final bowl game though with 373 yards and 3 td's

Who cares what he thinks, as long as I know that team couldn't beat us last year...

Boomer, nothing like stating the obvious. I think Henne will eventually be top 5 if given the weapons.

My prediction is that Chad Henne will have a Trent Green like career. Solid, strong 4,000 yard years. Just being a consistent QB.

.

You know what they say . . . what is good for NY is good for the league. How much do you want to bet that the Jets will be the SB favorite by the beginning of the season?
