Re: First Dolphins Depth Chart I'm pretty sure the Dolphins would like to pencil in Jake Long at LT for week 1.
Has anyone heard how Lydon Murtha has looked at LT so far? Has he been doing good? If so, what are the odds he slides over to RT once Jake Long returns? |

Re: First Dolphins Depth Chart All I know is that Vernon Carey's move to guard is a concern. He needs to be at RT, and we need to get a center so Pouncey can ease in as a guard.

Jeesh, get with the program man...    /sarcasm.... I am pretty sure that Miami drafted Pouncy to play Center for the Dolphins. I believe they will give him a good shot to prove whether or not he can handle the role in the preseason. From reports I am seeing, he is not having any trouble with the duties now. The point is Pouncey is a rookie, and injuries are a reality...Pouncey is a swing center/guard and other than him we no centers on the team. After LT, the center position is the most important on the offensive line....he makes all the calls, and the play literally starts with him every time. Why not get a pro bowl center in Johnathon Goodwin and slide Pouncey to guard? Unless Goodwin is no longer available. _________________
