Some good in with the bad but I think this class is extremely weak at WR. With more and more character issues with Bryant and us having so many needs I say we do not look wr until 3
....Huh!!! The draft class for WR is weak, so let's wait till the 3rd round to draft one? Last year's WR class was one of the strongest in recent memory, so we waited till the 3rd round to draft Patrick Turner....who then sat on the bench all year. Please tell me the logic in waiting till the 3rd round this year???????
This team has needed a true #1 receiver for years. Draft one, or bring one in by free agency. If the Dolphins continue to stay stuck on stupid, then the team will continue to flounder. Look at last year's playoff teams. All but one got there on the strength of their offensive teams....and it was the passing game that drove most of those offenses. The NFL is a passing league. The Jets even featured Braylon Edwards....a receiver quantum leaps ahead of any of ours. We got the QB now....so get him some darn toys.
Dez Bryant is clearly the best WR in this year's draft. If he is there at #12, we would be insane not to take him. But, then again, this is the team that drafted Pat White and brought in Wilford and Gibril Wilson....so mistakes are not something they have entirely avoided.
Also, that list of 1st round WR's is chock full of stars....and guys who show signs of being better than any receiver on our team. I will highlight the top receivers from that list...looks like quite a few guys who would have made our team better:
