Yes , with that running game they are really protecting Sanchez & not asking him to do alot & you gotta give Shottenheimer alot of credit. Still San Diego just let the Jets hang in this game & you knew sooner or later just 1 break to go the Jets way & they would pull off a win.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I never liked Turner as a head coach, and thought it was a bad hire. I understand there is a lot of pressure to win a super bowl when you've been given talent, but to come out and play the way they did today is inexcusable when you have two weeks to prepare.
All those penalties (so early on!) are clear signs of being unprepared.

The formula is the same as it always has been. Running the ball and stopping the run will get you places. You too can even make it to the AFCC with an overrated rookie QB when you have the top D in the league, as well as the top running game.

We did one pretty well this season, and pretty badly at the other, especially after Ferguson went down. That is why we went 7-9 and are sitting at home trying not to puke because the Jets are in the AFCC.

Not trying to dump on Marty, but Cameron cost him that playoff game. I just didn't understand the playcalling. Marty let his coordinators call the game and stayed out of it ... which was a change for him.

Anyways, Norv deserved it for being unbeatable for 3 months, and missing those field goals weren't his fault, but he has a track record of being just above average at best. The team is loaded with talent, so, I would think that this is the best they will do. I would say their first job would be to add a running back. LT just does not have it any longer.

I heard that Marty had no control over personnel decisions and he hated it.
