 Good Friday!I took today off to observe the greatest event in history .... where God himself came down to earth as a human being to pay for our sins. This had been promised (and well-documented in the Old Testament) since Adam and Eve.
Someone once described it this way : Big Dave's old memory wrote: One day an honest judge's mother stood before him over a speeding ticket. Because she was guilty and the judge believed in justice, he slammed his gavel down and said "guilty, $100 fine". Then the judge left his chair, took off his robe, stood next to his mother, and paid the fine himself. This is what God did for us. It is a wonderful time of celebration. That was such a good movie. My favorite part is the resurrection. What a day that was. His life for mine is how I look at it. _________________
