Post Daniel Thomas on Injured Reserve
http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedaily ... d-reserve/

The Dolphins had an incredible run of good luck with injuries for most of the season, but the 24-3 win over Jacksonville on Sunday is proving costly.

The team already placed tight end Charles Clay on injured reserve last night with a knee injury he suffered on Sunday. Wednesday, the team did the same to second-year running back Daniel Thomas, ending his season after he suffered a knee injury after playing just seven snaps on Sunday.

The weapons around Tannehill continue to diminish. Hopefully Miller can step up and give us a spark off the bench when Bush needs a rest.

These 2 games are BIG for Lamar Miller. I think we already know he is a better running back than Daniel, but the thing we need to see and Lamar needs to show is that he can handle 3rd down blocking assignments in the passing game. He needs to show he can be a complete running back.

And yes Phins Rock, this is IMPORTANT.

I agree, it's time for Miller to step it up. He has a lot of talent, in my opinion he would have been a 2nd round pick had he stayed in college another year. But he's here now and given the situation I think he needs to show quickly that he's more substance than potential. These last two games will likely determine whether or not Miller is our 3rd string, 2nd string, or starter going into next season. A lot is on the line for him. Hopefully he rises to the occasion.

Miller is going to get more carries that is for sure. I hope he shines.
