Dang, the whole arm and he said it took 48 hours over several weeks to do it. Next is a full robotic arm on his other arm.

I'll bet it's anywhere up to $1000 for it. At least he was smart enough to not get the tattoo past his wrists.

I have a friend who owns a tattoo parlor. He says he would charge at least 4 grand for that type of work.

Didn't we have another player who lost a pair of diamond earrings worth around 50 grand?

Again, you wonder why these guys go broke within a few years of retirement

It was definitely more than one grand. I have a half sleeve on my left arm (shoulder to about two inches above my elbow) that took 5 hours to complete and it cost me $500 dollars. If that tattoo took 48 hours to complete, I'd guess he paid closer to $4800; not counting the tip.

you gotta wonder what these guys are gonna look like with all this ink when they are older & out of shape. That tattoo is gonna be disgusting. These guys should really think these things thru.

When you are a NFL player you have celeb status.

That tattoo could be worth up the 5k depending on the artist. However, sign a few autographs and let the artist promote his wirk through you and the price suddenly drops.

Seriously tho Rock Sexton hit the nail on the head. Even if this tattoo is worth 10k, he doesnt have enough skin to go broke from tattoos...

Murtha should focus on his upcoming battle with Martin for the RT job, because I'm pretty sure Martin is.
