2015 Dolphins Draft Picks
It is with a very heavy heart that I must tell you that a very good friend here at Phinfever died yesterday morning after a 18-Wheeler changed into Tony's lane causing him to lose control of his car.
Tony was our Draft Guru here and I learned a lot about the draft each year by reading his blog and his posts on our forum. He also was part of our radio team.
It took me by complete surprise. He and I were discussing adding some blog writers this week. I just don't know what to say about it as he will definitely be missed by myself and everyone on the site. There were a few guys on the forum whom I valued their opinion and he was definitely one of them. He was a Christian, so, I will meet him with the Lord in the near future, but he will definitely be on our hearts here.He will definitely be missed at Phinfever.
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - (WLTX) -- One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer on Saturday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the collision happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Interstate 20 at the 67 mile marker. Officials say the 47-year-old motorist driving the freight liner switched lanes and hit a 2007 Chevrolet causing the driver to lose control. The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene and was wearing a seatbelt.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts identified the victim as 51-year-old Walter Antonio Simmons from Elgin. Watts said Simmons was taken to Palmetto Health Richland where he died just after 11 a.m. on Saturday. An autopsy will be performed on Sunday.
Officials say the driver of the 18-wheeler was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
This crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. (link)
