It’s still a little early but Big Dave was being pushy so here’s a mock draft. LOL.
We have no idea who we will sign in free agency and still do not know how many picks we’ll end up with so this is guess work. I think we’ll sign a starting guard and a linebacker in free agency.
I’m going with an extra 3rd rounder and 2 extra 5ths as compensation.
And just by following my big board I gave Miami alot of small school players like the draft we had a few years back.

1st round
Zach Cunningham-MLB-Vanderbilt 6’4” 230
No secret, he’s one of my favorite players.
Reminds me of Karlos Dansby or Jaime Collins
Tall, muscled up with long arms. He's a tackling machine that can drop and cover.
Very disruptive in the backfield.
This past season, Cunningham logged 125 tackles, 16.5 TFL, three passes defensed and two fumbles forced over 13 games.
The guy is a total playmaker and would instantly improve our defense Big League, LOL wink nod

2nd round
Tarell Bashem-DE-Ohio 6’4” 260
Bashem is a small school riser that showed well at the Senior Bowl.
Speed is this guy's bread and butter.
An edge pass rusher that has a lethal combination of burst, dip, and power to get into the backfield. He’s the young pass rusher this team needs to build around.

“…Basham has been virtually unblockable, winning with his initial quickness, bend, strong hands and a variety of pass rush moves, including a wicked spin. ” –Rob Rang.

3rd round
Isaac Asiata-OG-Utah 6’3” 325
He’s a smart, maximum effort player. He’s a power roadgrader with some nimbleness to boot. Has played both guard spots and can play center if needed which is important for this team since Pouncey gets hurt alot. Asiata played well against tough competition.

5th round
Adam Shaheen-TE-Ashland 6’6” 277
Shaheen from tiny Ashland college is one of my favorite sleepers in this draft.
This guy is a beast. Former basketball player that’s built like the Gronk.
Needs refinement as a blocker but has the pure brut strength for it.
Has soft hands and moves surprisingly well for a man of his size.

5th round
Larry Ogunjobi-DT-Charlotte 6’2” 304
He grades out well stuffing the run, Thick trunk with explosion.
Also shows some ability to penetrate the backfield. A Grady Jarrett type tackle.
Racked up plenty of sacks and tackles for loss in his career.

5th round
Aarion Penton-CB-Mizzou 5’10” 187
Penton has ball skills and is not afraid to play in close coverage, but due to his height he likely projects in the slot.
Showed a knack for interceptions and passes defensed.

6th round
Steven Taylor-OLB-Houston 6’1” 225
Taylor made plays all over the field for Houston, grading positively against the run, as a pass rusher, and in coverage. Miami could get creative with him at outside linebacker.

7th round
Avery Moss-DE-Youngstown St. 6’3” 264
Developmental prospect. Had a breakout year with 42 total tackles and 10 sacks…tied for the team lead with 12.5 TFLs and had a team best four forced fumbles.
