The Dolphins passing game, especially when Matt Moore came in. It was attacking, it was exciting. It was over 300 yards passing and 4 passing touchdowns. Something we haven't seen all year. Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills combined for 178 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. Also, thanks for showing Julius. Can you do it more often?
Cameron Wake is a beast. On limited snaps, he has 6 sacks on the season and had 2.5 against the Jets.
Bobby McCain had the play of the day with a game changing interception late in the game that put the Dolphins in position to go for the win. Otherwise, we were most likely headed for overtime.
Cordrea Tankersley, I know you're a rookie, but... c'mon. Get beat on your backpedal on the first touchdown, ok you almost got your hand in to break it up. But that 2nd touchdown the post... dude. Maybe try to stay with the guy down the field. Just a thought.
Can we maybe throw more on first down when the other team is stacking the box? I'm tired of 2nd and 3rd and long.
This offensive line is so Jekyll and Hyde. One minute, the pass protection is falling apart, the next minute the QB isn't being touched.
It was good to see Jordan Phillips playing like a man possessed, running 10 yards downfield to make a tackle, pushing the offensive lineman back into the pocket repeatedly. It was not good to see him go for the ill-advised strip or gets his hands in the face of the offensive lineman. Love the effort, but clean it up.
Hey, we're 4-2. Despite all of the injuries, especially at quarterback, the offense may be turning the corner. The defense clamps down in the 2nd half. The team has an identity, and that is of a team that doesn't quit and makes plays when the game is on the line. Say what you want about Gase's playcalling and affinity for keeping Cutler in if available, the most important thing he has done is the most important thing a head coach can do. He has provided this team with an identity that wins games, that is mentally tough, that steps up when the pressure is on.
Up next, the Baltimore Ravens, who will be a good test for this offense. If Matt Moore performs as well as he did against the Jets, the season will only get more interesting.
