Well…they probably don’t understand how you can possibly win with around 5 yard per pass attempt average.
His YPA for the season is 7.1 (tied with Pat Mahomes) and its 7.8 the last 5 games. So yeah... facts n stuff....
As time goes on I am becoming more convinced that phinished and facts have a dissociative relationship.
Yes…he is doing better than I thought….but a good D line brings it down….Bills held him to 3.25 and 5.26, Giants held him at 5.95.
So as we go to the original post at the top it is the Giants and the Jests and you bring up the Bills and the Giants. Lets talk about the original teams mentioned the Giants and the Jests the average against them combined is 7.05https://www.nfl.com/players/tua-tagovai ... ts/splits/
Then it seems like you want to move the goal posts and say a good D line brings the YPA down which means what? Are you saying that you don't take the whole season to figure YPA only the games against good D lines? But now that you have moved the goal posts to try and justify your position could you please tell me where you got your stats, ranking, idea for the good D lines you mentioned?
Do the Patriots, Panthers, or Ravens have a good D lines? I could not find D line specific rankings to compare but the Patriots, Panthers and the Ravens all have overall D's ranked better than the Giants. https://www.lineups.com/nfl-team-rankings/defense
Why not include those in the YPA? 7.5, 7.4, 12.2 respectively. See above mentioned site for Tua stats.
In another data base just looking at YPA passing Defense the Patriots are better than the Giants and the Panters are the same as Giants. https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/de ... 21/reg/all
I look forward to your reply.
