After Giants Loss:

Larry Brown Sports wrote:
Afterwards, Giants cornerback Logan Ryan spoke on his team’s quarterback situation and got in a shot at Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, who had just beat them.

Ryan said that he was available as an emergency quarterback if need be, noting that he played the position in high school.

“I’m a lot like Tua, I can throw two yard passes to the left,” Ryan added, per Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com.

That's interesting because for the longest time, all Brady did was dink and dunk the crap out of opposing defenses.

It’s easy to be salty when you die by a thousand small cuts.
Tua carved them up, guess he rubbed some salt in their egos while doing it.

With a surgical 75% completion rate he must be blessed by Jesus throwing up all of those “prayers” with that level of consistency according to these guys. They are stuck playing on rookie mode while Tua is on All Madden.

Ryan is the player who strikes out in three pitches and walks back to the dugout shaking his head, saying " He ain't got nothin' "

Well…they probably don’t understand how you can possibly win with around 5 yard per pass attempt average. Honestly, it amazes me that it is working so well. That really is an anemic stat, but Tua is making up for it now with consistency and cutting back on the boneheaded INT’s we saw earlier. Now that Parker’s vacation is over, the ypa should improve.

Yes…he is doing better than I thought….but a good D line brings it down….Bills held him to 3.25 and 5.26, Giants held him at 5.95.

That’s why they are called averages. Image

Is it supposed to go up in your mind when he plays against a good defense?

So as we go to the original post at the top it is the Giants and the Jests and you bring up the Bills and the Giants. Lets talk about the original teams mentioned the Giants and the Jests the average against them combined is 7.05
https://www.nfl.com/players/tua-tagovai ... ts/splits/
Then it seems like you want to move the goal posts and say a good D line brings the YPA down which means what? Are you saying that you don't take the whole season to figure YPA only the games against good D lines? But now that you have moved the goal posts to try and justify your position could you please tell me where you got your stats, ranking, idea for the good D lines you mentioned?
Do the Patriots, Panthers, or Ravens have a good D lines? I could not find D line specific rankings to compare but the Patriots, Panthers and the Ravens all have overall D's ranked better than the Giants. https://www.lineups.com/nfl-team-rankings/defense
Why not include those in the YPA? 7.5, 7.4, 12.2 respectively. See above mentioned site for Tua stats.

In another data base just looking at YPA passing Defense the Patriots are better than the Giants and the Panters are the same as Giants. https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/de ... 21/reg/all

I look forward to your reply.

So I looked up Tom Brady's stats from 2019 when he was throwing to a dog poop receiving corp while supported by a subpar running game:

61% completions, 24 TDs, 6.6 YPA and QB Rating 88.

His WR/TE group was: Julian Edelman, N'Keal Harry, Philip Dorsett, Mohamed Sanu, Jakoby Meyers, Josh Gordon, Ben Watson, Matt LaCosse

His RBs (who averaged 3.8 YPA and scored 17 TDs): Sony Michel, Damien Harris, Rex Burkhead, James White.

Not to mention he had a better than average O-Line blocking for him and the league's NUMBER 1 ranked defense in yards and points allowed.

Take Tua's current numbers spread over 16 starts and he would have a better completion percentage, YPA, rating and about the same TD passes. All with a worse receiving group, running back stable and a defense that is maybe 12th-15th in the league (keeping opponents off the field).

Really puts things in perspective (especially when you look at Brady's current numbers with an all star supporting cast).

When your gun runs out of bullets, throwing cotton balls is not going to injure the target.

Christian Wilkins' spitballs packed a bigger punch than his "bullets".

The Tua Mafia made him scared. Be careful Phinished and carraramia as you may find a Dolphin head in your beds for you consistent insolence to Da Little Man.
