Concerning Watson, I think instead of five 1st round picks, we should just trade the next 10 year 1st round picks for him. Especially after another investigation was launched, just today.

I mean, imagine it guys... just imagine it! We sell out franchise for a guy who has what, 20+ lawsuits against him now? And then he’s being investigated again today? I don’t see what could go wrong honestly. Let’s do this!

I’ve changed my mind! LETS GO WATSON!

I would imagine any trade that would have been made for Watson would have been voided.

10 first round picks and a 5-year $1 billion fully guaranteed contract with a no trade clause.

It is a human right. Strap your boycotting boots on and bring some snacks.

Deer Park is off limits though.

After seeing the press conference from the alleged victim today I think Watson is done for at least a couple of years.

That's worth at least one 1st round draft pick in and of itself.

I'm opposing FINesse's view on this one. My money's on Deshaun Watson never playing in another NFL game.

Front office of course. I just feel as bad as this looks for Watson right now , all these cases are civil so no jail time. If Tua is not the guy which alot of people feel that way , they pull the everyone deserves a second chance defense and go out and get him.

Strange how a person can go from "great character" to a scumbag in just a few months. With the mountain of evidence against him, the "innocent before proven guilty" is almost impossible to remember with the human mind. The evidence against him is beyond smoke and is a raging fire.

I can't get over him having 30 "massage therapists". Every other athlete has the team's person and a personal one they trust. That's it.

30 is pervert or predator territory. Probably both.

The rumor is that both Nike and Apple spent quite a bit of money on investigating the situation before they suspended their sponsorships. They weren't just publicity plays.

I personally would be opposed to him coming here if he loses/settles the civil cases, jail time or no. One case is one thing but 22+ shows a serious problem and not somebody I would want to represent my organization.

Watson might be approaching Jerry Sandusky territory if proven guilty.

I am not sure he is disputing this but if he went to their homes to me it shows a lack of judgment.
If he has that little discernment then what will South Beach do to him. A firm pass right now until more evidence turns up.

Yep! And Miami better be....money talks and dear Watson my Fins QB of our next SB has plenty....he should be getting his Fins jersey measured and a number picked out.....this from PFT today:

Quote:
Via Mike Meltser, attorney Tony Buzbee opposed the motion to require the use of the plaintiff’s name by arguing that Ashley Solis has received at least 10 death threats since going public on Tuesday. That argument did not prevail, and frankly it could make the 20 unnamed plaintiffs more likely to accept a reasonable settlement in lieu of attaching their names to their claims against Watson.

Ultimately, that was Hardin’s goal, in our view. By forcing the unnamed plaintiffs to reveal their identities, some if not most if not all of them will accept a settlement proposal instead.

Guilty AF if he settles that way. I wouldn’t touch him and frankly I think the NFL won’t let this go unpunished if it goes down that way.

Should this play out in Miami’s favor, these outcomes, however unpleasant, are the unfortunate product of decades of awful front office by Miami....the latest example, had they not passed on Herbert this wouldn’t be a topic here...it’s no one’s fault out here, not the fans, certainly not the fans that want to win, or at least, contend for a championship...

The name of the game is winning, playing for a championship. This isn’t the Boy Scouts, and nice guys finish last fits here, so, Miami better not pass if the chance presents itself. They are not now and won’t even be in the conversation otherwise.

I wouldn’t be too sure. It’s a brave new world out there now. His future is totally unpredictable. People change the norms & rules every other afternoon nowadays of what is or isn’t expected.

Car seems to have a voodoo doll level of infatuation with Mister Tiger Stripes & Butthole Massages though.

I hope retirement treats me better. My social security may be in the hands of the Chinese by then though. Make sure your kids stay in North Dakota.

How is 17 still standing upright then? You must’ve picked the wrong voodoo doll.

Quoting a great statesman of our time, Hedley Lamarr, “Now go do, that voodoo, that you do, so well!”. Cole Porter would not approve of the twist on his legendary music but desperate times call for desperate measures. Why? Easy. We (those not in denial), know Grier isn’t going to be able to deliver a working QB, no matter how many picks he has (remember, it’s not the number of picks, it’s the players picked), so I’m doing my very best to get all you deserving Fins Fans that have never tasted Nirvana, a QB that will have the best chance to get you there.

You’ll thank me.
