Looks like the mail-in-voting and Gen Z did more harm than good. It is kind of ridiculous that it now takes a month to count votes.

That being said... yeah... Trump needs to step aside in 2024.

Good to see you around!

Tua could have rode the political bench in Tallahassee every time he showed up on the Miami inactive report.

Voting Republican may taste like an old, yeasted sour patch kid but voting Democrat has to taste like the rotting butthole of a week old raccoon carcass. The NY gov’s race came down to 5 points. I’d vote Trump back into office over the likes of that scary a$$, elementary school teacher from hell Kathy Hogul & Biden/Harris. That being said, I don’t want Trump back in either…but the left has totally left the reservation.

They’ll be cleaning up failed liberal policy for generations if it doesn’t completely take the country under to begin with.

This is what happens when the right all move to one area and don't spread out across the country.

If you’re referring to FL, I don’t necessarily agree. DeSantis won 62 out of 67 counties in Florida including Miami-Dade. When his campaign and agenda were a relative unknown back in his original 2018 race for gov he almost lost to a guy who was caught with gay prostitutes and meth at a hotel just weeks after losing the election…of whom had a wife and family at home during that time…you ask me Andrew Gillum is a microcosm of the shameless attitudes of general democrat politic but I’ll admit my bias in that.

I don’t think you beat your prior election numbers by nearly 20 points just from 4 years of conservative-minded people moving to the state. Native & longtime Floridians love this guy. He’s clearly the future of the country unless your priority is obsessing over nihilistic, hollow, rainbow flag identity-politic that inevitably benefits nobody but the politician seeking power.

Think about what will happen long term when the left keeps aborting their future children or giving puberty blockers and castrating the ones they actually allow to be born. The left will eventually extinct itself out.

Are they even having kids considering that they constantly identify as the opposite gender or a gender that doesn't even exist?

I didn't expect a red wave as the abortion issue would bring out the Democrat voters, so, I was actually happy with the added seats in the House. Trump? I can't stand someone who uses bully tactics on others, so, while I liked many of his policies I cannot stand the person. I hope Desantis runs for office; otherwise, I will be voting against whoever is running for office in 2024 on the Democratic side and that's telling that this country has become that.

Not sure about the balanced part. The right is very right and the left is very left.

The left has made more left turns than NASCAR since 2018, if anything the right has gone a little left too BUT everything the democracts have blown up the last few years make republicans look further “right” than they really are…I’m not a registered republican I’m Independent or whatever on paper but some of these left wing, politic-crazed lunatics would react the same as they are now with some of Obama’s own policies just a decade ago. Remember the left called him “deporter-in-chief” so even he would be far right to the democrat party now. Trump broke their brains.

I talk politics a lot but I’m not political and to me it looks like the left has instigated most of the BS that’s been going on.

Never underestimate the ability of Republicans to screw up an advantage.

Rick Scott being chosen to potentially replace ‘Cocaine’ Mitch McConnell is just a younger version of McConnel replacing himself…and Rick Scott ain’t young either.

How did I miss this discussion from months ago???

All great points.

Don't underestimate the local gains made by Republicans nationwide. It doesn't make the nightly news, but they took over school boards, state legislatures and other seats that will have an impact.

There's a reason why he crushed it in his re-election for governor. He even took Dade and Broward counties, two largely blue areas. He don't mess around. He even stripped Disney of their independently governed status because they called him out for shutting down all the "woke" stuff here.

The problem with DeSantis is at some point he would need Trump to back him. There is a segment of the Republican Party that is now firmly in the Trump camp for life.

Are you saying that Trump will sabotage the Republican party if he doesn't get some power out of this? lol. Hopefully DeSantis can win on his own without his support then.

That's a very real possibility. I feel Trump was a very effective president, especially on the economy and he kept us out of wars. His handling of COVID was haphazard and it did him in. His messaging is cringe-worthy at times and I wish he would have evolved a bit on this. He was unfairly attacked by the corporate media, social media and permanent Washington for years and it is well-documented how this all played out. The goal wasn't to get him convicted of anything, it was to bog him down with so much BS that he wouldn't win re-election.

That being said, he has an ego the size of Manhattan and I think it will be difficult for him to back anyone else other than himself. If he loses to DeSantis, he will say the RINOs rigged the primaries for DeSantis to win yadda yadda yadda.

The only way I see him backing DeSantis is if DeSantis is willing to make all his legal troubles go away.

Absolutely, unequivocally, without doubt, 100%. Trump is toast. Lindsey Graham is still even worse. He’s just a younger, more savvy Joey Biden with a red tie. It’s interesting to watch the media consistently parade around & project our worst politicians onto our television/phone screens.

I’m personally done voting, it’s a fool’s errand. Let the country sink. All we can realistically do at this point is gain legacy capital while the western economy still allows you to & keep your circle close. I’m done paying attention to the lunacy, I know where we are at.

The shh the left is pushing on kids should have some in this country swinging on a tree. BUTTttt…that’s just my humble opinion

When it's not ok for a kid to dress up like an Indian but it's ok for a boy to dress up like a girl, you know the country is in big trouble.

Take it a step further, when it's ok for a boy to be chemically castrated....

IMO that should be done to all rapists, especially pedophiles.
